Design Milk spotlights Cedric Mitchell’s 25-piece JOOPITER collection, where Modern Funk moves across collectible glass, sculptural furniture, lighting, mirrors, drinkware, and fashion. 

At the reopening of Harun Coffee in Leimert Park, Cedric Mitchell debuts a custom lighting installation for the listening room and speakeasy, marking a deeper shift into lighting and furniture design. Rooted in community, cultural legacy, and the historic lineage of the space, the project reflects a growing commitment to shaping environments where art, design, and Black authorship intersect.

Cedric Mitchell designed the Collab of the Year Award for Bimma Williams, honoring culturally impactful partnerships. The 2025 award was presented to Nigel Sylvester.

The DeDrizzler is a limited-edition handblown glass decanter designed by Cedric Mitchell for Mike’s Hot Honey, merging sculptural design, culinary culture, and holiday ritual.
