Cedric Mitchell, a Black artist from Oklahoma, mastered glass art while studying business. Encountering studio glass during music sessions in Tulsa ignited his passion. He advanced from student to instructor at The Tulsa Glassblowing School, then refined his craft under mentor Joe Cariati in LA. Inspired by Modern Design, Graffiti, Streetwear, and Memphis Design Movement, his pieces range from functional to decorative – all embodying Black excellence in handmade glass.
