The DeDrizzler A Holiday Collaboration with Mike’s Hot Honey

The DeDrizzler A Holiday Collaboration with Mike’s Hot Honey

by cedric mitchell

In late 2025, I had the opportunity to collaborate with Mike’s Hot Honey on a limited edition piece that sits at the intersection of craft, table culture, and everyday ritual. The DeDrizzler is a hand blown glass decanter designed to elevate how hot honey is served and experienced, turning a familiar condiment into a sculptural object for the table.

Design Philosophy

The DeDrizzler was conceived with both beauty and function in mind. Each piece was hand blown in Los Angeles with a sleek silhouette inspired by classic decanter forms. A drip free maroon spout allows for easy pouring, while an etched honeycomb base references both texture and storytelling. Rather than blending into the background, the piece was designed to invite interaction and conversation during shared meals.

As I shared during the collaboration, I wanted to design something that feels at home on a beautiful holiday table. Modern, sculptural, a little bit of funk, and a joy to use.

Press and Response

The collaboration was featured across food and lifestyle outlets, highlighting the way handcrafted design can live comfortably within everyday rituals. Press described The DeDrizzler as a hand blown glass decanter that brings intention and visual presence to the act of serving hot honey, especially during holiday gatherings and moments of connection.

Closing

Bringing artistry into everyday experiences continues to be central to my practice. This collaboration with Mike’s Hot Honey offered an opportunity to merge craftsmanship with culinary culture, creating an object that celebrates both form and function while encouraging people to slow down and enjoy the moment.
